is this a good set up for a gaming computer?

Total around 1500 after taxes and shipping.( I plan to OC my PSU a bit, maybe to around 3.5ghz) I'm not sure if there are maybe, better deals or if this is actually a good setup in any case.

Its a good configuration but the ram you have listed wont work with that board as it is tri-channel...AMD boards only support dual channel memory...

So you need to run a even amount of ram....Like 4-1gig sticks or 2--2 gig sticks for a total of 4 gigs and so on.....

Other than that it looks like a good build.....I ran the 5770's in a single card setup and crossfire...1 card is enough for high settings in every game out...2 crossfired and there really fast...Max out games as they scale very well in some instances are as fast as a 5870/but never faster.....
